Teaching is something that I thoroughly enjoy, and has been a focal point of my musical life for the past twelve years. I have always maintained a private studio while also taking the opportunity to coach Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra harpists, San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra harpists, and leading the Chicago Harp Ensemble.  I teach both Harp and Piano to students ranging from ages 4 to as young as 70.

My teaching philosophy is to first assess how a student learns best (visual, auditory, multiple strategies, etc.) and to then provide the instruction that student needs to grow and play music.  Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, my goal is to improve your musical abilities in a safe and encouraging environment.  As a very passionate educator, I strive to push my students to progress every week when possible.  I conduct lessons at my private studio in the South Bay Area of Los Angeles, CA.

Lessons are conducted in 30, 45 and 60 minute increments based on the student's need.  New to the harp?  There are many resources for renting or buying a harp and some options can even be more affordable than a cello.  There are multiple stores in the Los Angeles area in addition to that there are many private renters with different kinds of harps available.  I am here to help you with any and all things related to harp so please don't hesitate to ask if you have questions: playing the harp is easy and fun!
